Covid-19: Four Supreme Court Judges reportedly affected, benches reshuffled

 

The Covid-19 cases are on a surge across the country. The Supreme Court has not  been spared as well with reports coming out that four Judges are affected with the virus.

Justice Aniruddha Bose, Justice S Ravindra Bhatt, Justice JB Pardiwala and Justice Manoj Misra are reportedly currently down with COVID-19 while Justice Surya Kant just recovered a week ago.

Justice Bhatt who is part of the Constitution Bench hearing the Marriage Equality matter shall not attend Court on Monday and the hearing scheduled already stands cancelled.

It has been reported that Chief Justice of India's office is reshuffling cases to avoid pendency.
