Madhya Pradesh: Corruption Warriors insulted by lathicharge, where did the tali-thali honor!

Where the Prime Minister Narendra Modi had earlier clapped and thali in honor of the Corona warriors, now the BJP government of Madhya Pradesh is lathi-charging the same warriors. According to the media reports, many of the agitating health workers have suffered serious injuries in lathicharge, while many protesters have also been arrested by the police. After this incident, the opposition is an attacker on the government, while the government is talking about taking appropriate steps in the matter.

What is the whole matter?

About 500 health workers were sitting on a dharna at Neelam Park in Madhya Pradesh's capital Bhopal for the last three days, demanding regular jobs. The police lathi-charged these protesting medical personnel on Thursday, December 3 and drove them from the protest site.

According to health workers, during the Corona crisis, the MP government hired more than six thousand health workers on contract for three months in April 2020. But the risk of Corona's increased infection was renewed twice and their contract was renewed. That means a total contract of nine months. Now on December 31, the contract of these health workers is coming to an end, due to which health workers are demanding from the state government for service restoration and regularization of jobs.According to the information received, the protesters had been holding a peaceful protest for several days but the case caught fire when the police reached Neelam Park on 3 December and asked them to vacate the place. When the health workers stood by their point, the police lathi-charged. Around 15 health workers also suffered injuries during this period. 47 were detained, 15 of whom were later arrested. Many videos of the incident are also going viral at the moment.

What do the protesting health workers say?

According to the media reports, the protesting health workers have alleged that the corona is not over in the state, yet the mission director Chitra Bhardwaj is unnecessarily removing the health workers. Whereas, in the capital itself, Health Minister Prabhu Ram Chaudhary himself assured him that his service would not be terminated.

He says that he worked day and night for the prevention of corona in the state. In spite of taking care of the patients facing all the difficulties while remaining hungry and thirsty, it has been removed from service due to its National Health Mission.

Dr. Jitendra Kushwaha, who is leading the movement, told local media that 6200 health workers were appointed to provide timely treatment to the corona patients in the hospital. These included ANM and other employees including doctors. Now 3000 employees have been laid off by the mission.

According to Dr. Jitendra Kushwaha, till the service is restored, the health workers will remain camping in the capital and will raise their voice. The agitating health workers say they were protesting peacefully at Neelam Park but were beaten up by police on the spot, injuring half a dozen women doctors and nurses. Even a pregnant woman was killed. After this, the police took many protesters in the vehicle. Some of whom were later released, while some were arrested.

Need of these employees in hospitals

The state president of Madhya Pradesh Health Employees Union, Dr. SB Singh, says that the outbreak of corona has not reduced in Madhya Pradesh. In such a situation, these employees are needed in hospitals.

According to Dr. SB Singh, in every district of the state including the capital Bhopal, corona cases are increasing every day. In such a situation, he will meet Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan and submit a memorandum to him during this week itself. At this time, it is not appropriate to remove employees from service.

What is the police saying?

In connection with this incident, Bhopal police say that the protesters first attacked the police. After which the police used the least force to control the situation.

Speaking to the media, Bhopal ASP Rajat Saklecha said, “He was protesting for the last four days and also met the Health Minister and MP. Their demands were conveyed to CM. Still, he was protesting without permission. They were asked to vacate the place, after which some tried to attack the police. A policeman was also hurt. During this time we used least force. "What is the government saying?

Regarding the movement of doctors, Health Minister Dr. Prabhuram Chaudhary told the media that this matter has not come to his notice. The whole situation will be ascertained after discussing with the officials. Immediate work will be started in this direction to do what is best in the interest of the expelled doctor nurse and other staff.

According to Prabhu Ram Chaudhary, why these people are agitating will be discussed with the authorities. How many people have been removed from hospitals. Reports are being sought through its officials.

Opposition targeted the government

Former Madhya Pradesh CM and Congress leader Kamal Nath condemned the lathicharge on the Corona Warriors and demanded immediate action against the culprits.

Significantly, just a few days ago, the country had witnessed the brutality of the police on the farmers' movement. Earlier, lathicharge was criticized against students and demonstrators in protest against CAA and NRC. On the social media, people are strongly opposing the lathi police lathi on Corona warriors. Recalling his contribution in the difficult times of Corona, the BJP's Shivraj government is making a ruckus. So right now Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan has kept silence on the whole matter.
