CBI Court grants seven years Rigorous Imprisonment with fine to five accused in a case related to Police Recruitment Test - 2012 conducted by Vyapam

 

The Special Judge, Vyapam Cases, Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh) has sentenced S/Shri Aneka Ram; Nar Singh; Giriraj; (All 3 Candidates) and  Raju Kumar, Naval Kumar (both Impersonators) to undergo seven years Rigorous Imprisonment with fine under relevant Sections of IPC & MPRE Act in a case related to Police Constable Recruitment Test-2012 conducted by Vyapam.

 CBI had registered a case on 10.08.2015 and took over the investigation of Crime NO.06/2015 earlier registered at Police Station, STF, Bhopal on the orders dated 09.07.2015 of Hon’ble Supreme Court of India in the matter of impersonation relating to Police Constable Recruitment Test-2012.

 After Investigation, a Charge sheet was filed against 09 accused including Candidates, Impersonators & Middlemen on on 30.06.2017 before the Court of ASJ, Bhopal.

The Trial Court found the said 05 accused guilty and convicted them. 04 middlemen were acquitted by the Court.
