Senior BJP leader and Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address election rallies today, February 11, at Ambassa and Udaipur in Tripura.
It will be his first visit to Tripura to address election rallies in the
State ahead of polls. Senior leaders of other political parties are too
holding rallies in the State. Meanwhile, Election Commission is putting
all efforts to increase the polling percentage through awareness.
AIR correspondent reports, as the election day nears, all political
parties are busy with their campaigning and with an increase in the pace
of election campaigning there is also an increase in awareness
programmes across the state to create a new record in poll percentage.
As a part of the SVEEP, the Central Bureau of Communication in
association with CEO office is creating awareness among the voters with
the use of traditional media like Folk songs, Street drama and puppet
shows. Puppet show is being used for the first time in Tripura polls for
SVEEP activities and is creating a lot of attraction among the voters.
It is also seen as an idea of direct messaging through lucid
communication in order to deliver the message of ethical voting. The
campaign is targeting the booths under mission 929 where the polling
percentage was lower than the state average.
Social media is young.
Social media raises questions.
Social media is not satisfied with an answer.
Social media looks at the big picture.
Social media is interested in every detail.
social media is curious.
Social media is free.
Social media is irreplaceable.
But never irrelevant.
Social media is you.
