Stock Market: Sensex declines 773 points, Nifty settles below 17,400 level

 

The Sensex and the Nifty today declined more than one percent amid negative global cues. The Sensex closed below 58,200 points while the Nifty ended below 17,400 level.

The Sensex lost 773 points, or 1.31 percent to trade at 58,153 while the Nifty fell 231 points, or 1.31 percent, to 17,375.
