Total recoveries across the country so far have gone over two crore 94 lakh. Over 60 thousand patients recovered during last 24 hours. Daily recoveries continue to outnumber the new cases for the 48th consecutive day.
Over 45 thousand new cases reported during the last 24 hours. Country's active caseload declined to over five lakh 37 thousand. Active cases constitute 1.77 per cent of total cases. Weekly positivity rate remains below five per cent and it is currently at 2.69 per cent.
Daily positivity rate at 2.34 per cent and it is less than five per cent for 23 consecutive days. In all, 817 deaths were reported in the last 24 hours. The death toll due to the pandemic has reached to over three lakh 98 thousand. Health Ministry said, testing capacity has been substantially ramped up and till now over 41 crore one lakh tests have been conducted.
