The Division Bench of the Kerala High Court, comprising Chief Justice Mr. S. Manikumar, Justice Shaji P. Chaly, and Justice C. T. Ravikumar has further extended the validity of Interim Orders till 13.07.2021. (Suo Motu v. the State of Kerala)
The Bench held that,
“Placing on record the submission of the learned Advocate General that the lockdown continues with the charge as set in the government order dated 22.06.2021, we are inclined to extend interim orders up to 13.07.2021.”
The Bench observes that considering the extension of lockdown and the periodical government orders, it is imperative to extend these orders until a further date. The High Court had earlier extended the validity of these orders till 29th June, considering that the Covid restrictions were still in place, affecting the normal court proceedings.
The Court listed the matter on 12.07.2021 for the next hearing
