Senior advocate Vikas Singh Saturday elected as President of the Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA). Singh defeated senior advocates Adish Aggarwala who got 493 votes against Singh who got the highest 837 votes.
Senior Advocate Pradeep Kumar Rai was elected Vice President, while advocate Ardhendumauli Kumar Prasad will be the new Secretary.
Rai secured 984 votes defeating Senior Advocate SB Upadhyay who got 615 votes. Prasad secured 855 votes defeating Amit Anand Tiwari who garnered 543 votes.
Advocate Rahul Kaushik has been elected as the Joint Secretary, Meenesh Kumar Dubey as the Treasurer and Dr. Ritu Bhardwaj as Joint Treasurer.
The voting was held online due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
