It was informed that block level meeting has been organized in district Katni as decided by the state president of Provincial Women Self Help Group Federation Madhya Pradesh Sarita Omprakash Baghel. This mainly includes abolition of mechanized kitchen shed contracting system, increase in honorarium of cooks, demand for wages of collector rate, increase in the cost of mid-day meal, from Rs 4,69 pa in primary school to Rs 10 per student, secondary school Increased honorarium from Rs. 589 to Rs. 15 per student, from Rs. 500 to Rs. 2 thousand per month, free insurance of Rs. 5 lakh and loan of Rs. 5 lakh for Group Operator, President Secretary and cook. The demand was considered. Meanwhile, the women present said that efforts will now be made by the women to fulfill these demands. If these demands are not met then there will be agitation on a large scale.
