Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be attending the 15th G-20 Leaders Summit at the invitation of the King of Saudi Arabia. The summit is being chaired by Saudi Arabia on November 21st and 22nd in a virtual format under the theme - Realising the Opportunities of the 21st Century for All.
Briefing the media this evening, External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Anurag Srivastava said this will be the second G20 leaders meeting in 2020. The focus of the upcoming G20 Summit will be on an inclusive, resilient and sustainable recovery from COVID 19. The spokesperson said that the leaders will discuss pandemic preparedness and ways and means to restore jobs. The leaders will also share the vision for building an inclusive, sustainable and resilient future.
