Under the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Yojana by the Government of India, the women beneficiaries are depositing the appropriate amount in their Prime Minister Jan Dhan Bank account at the rate of Rs. 500. The date has been set based on the final number of the bank account for withdrawal of this amount from the bank account. Women of Katni district will also benefit from this scheme. The district's leading bank manager Amianath Mahali said in this regard that the amount deposited by the government on April 2 in the accounts whose last digit is 0 or 1, will be paid on April 3. In the accounts whose last digit is 2 or 3, the amount has been deposited by the government on April 3 and the payment will be made on April 4. In the accounts whose last digit is 4 or 5, the amount will be deposited by the government on April 4 and the payment will be made on April 7.
Similarly, in those accounts whose last digit is 6 or 7, the government will deposit the amount on April 5 and the payment will be made on April 8. In the accounts whose last digit is 8 or 9, the amount will be deposited by the government on April 6 and the payment will be made on April 9. The lead bank manager stated that the amount can be withdrawn from the account by the account holder at any time during the banking tenure after April 9, but the amount can be withdrawn only by the account holder of the last AQ account marked against him on the above mentioned date. Mr. Prasad said that this amount can be withdrawn by the account holders through ATMs, bank branches, BC agents. But to avoid the infection of corona virus, the beneficiaries will have to strictly follow social distancing at the time of payment. The lead bank manager said that the accounts of the Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana which were held on account of no KYC, have now been withdrawn till June 30, 2020. Accounts where the account holders were not able to transact due to the hold, the account holders can now deal with such accounts.
