As part of the war campaign for katni, Shuddha, under the direction of Collector Shashibhushan Singh, 6 sweet seller establishments were inspected by the Food Safety Administration at Slimanabad and Umaripan. During this time samples of 5 suspicious food items were taken by the departmental staff. During the examination of the sweet seller establishments, departmental officers took samples of Khova Barfi and Namkeen from Madhav Hotel Sleemnabad. Samples of Khova Barfi were taken from Giani Hotel in Sleemnabad, Bikaner Sweets. Also, a correction notice was issued in the Gupta Hotel, Sleemnabad, on the finding of uncleanliness and disorder. Inspection of Chhotu Hotel and Gaga Hotel at Jhanda Chowk Umariapan and sampling Khova Barfi from Chhotu Hotel and improvement notice letter has been issued if food is found to be in unhygienic conditions. If the desired correction is not found on the improvement notice, action will be taken to close the shop by canceling the food license of the concerned establishment.
