Katni collector Shasibhushan Singh said that no corona-infected person has been reported from anywhere in the state including the district. There is no need to be afraid or afraid of corona virus. In which other medical measures are available, including ventilators. Under the protocol, a 2-bed Isolation Room has been set up at the sub-health center Juhla as a quarantine site for infected patients. Corona virus detection facility is available in Jabalpur apart from Bhopal. The kit and equipment required to take the test sample is available at the District Hospital Katni. Chief Medical and Health Officer Dr. SK Nigam informed that cases of pneumonia from new type of corona virus have been found in Buhan city of Hubei state of China. In addition to China, the World Health Organization has declared it to be a public health emergency on the international subject if the disease is found in 30 other countries. This virus is found mainly in snakes and bats. Special care needs to be taken in contact with travelers coming from China and other identified countries. There is a protocol to monitor the travelers from these countries by coming in isolation for 14 days at home. To prevent infection, keep a napkin or bend elbow while coughing and sneezing. Clean hands frequently with soap. Dr. Samir Singhai has been appointed as the nodal officer for the treatment of corona virus in the district hospital. Similarly, medical expert Dr. SP Soni has also been placed in the cell. The nearest health center or nodal officer can be contacted for any symptoms or problems.
