The High Court of Delhi sought the civic body's response on Friday on a plea seeking basic amenities, such as drinking water, functional toilets, proper desks and a hygienic environment, in a municipality school in northeast Delhi.
A bench of Chief Justice Satish Chandra Sharma and Justice Subramonium Prasad issued notices to the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD), the Delhi Jal Board (DJB) and the Delhi Govt, asking them to file their replies to the petition within 4 weeks.
The Court listed the matter for further hearing on July 26.
