Collegium recommends names of six Additional Judges as Permanent Judges in the Punjab and Haryana High Court

 

Supreme Court Collegium has recommended names of six Additional Judges for appointment as permanent judges in the Punjab and Haryana High Court.

The names of the Judges are as follows:

1. Shri Justice Vikas Bahl,
2. Shri Justice Vikas Suri,
3. Shri Justice Sandeep Moudgil,
4. Shri Justice Vinod Sharma (Bhardwaj)
5. Shri Justice Pankaj Jain, and
6. Shri Justice Jasjit Singh Bedi.

The notification further notified that Collegium hoped that since the current two-year term of one of the Additional Judge is due to expire on 24 May 2023, the above recommendation may be processed expeditiously.
