Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar, Tejashwi Yadav has informed the Delhi High Court that on March 25th, he will appear before the CBI for questioning in the alleged land-for-jobs scam.
The CBI has given assurances to the High Court that this month there will be no arrest of the Deputy CM.
Tejashwi Yadav had approached the Delhi High Court for quashing the summons issued by the CBI. The CBI summoned the Deputy CM to its office in Delhi, not Bihar. This was challenged by Tejashwi Yadav before the High Court.
The petition was listed for hearing today before Hon’ble Justice Dinesh Kumar Sharma.
