Justices Rajesh Bindal and Aravind Kumar sworn-in as SC judges, strength reaches full

 

On Monday, the Supreme Court reached its full strength after Justice Rajesh Bindal and Justice Aravinf Kumar sworn-in as Judges of the Top Court.

Centre, has in last week, notified their appointment. Their elevation was recommended in the resolution of 31st January.

The oath to the two judges was administered by CJI DY Chandrachud. The Supreme Court has completed its quoram of 34 Judges. 

Justice Bindal was serving as the Chief Justice of Allahabad High Court while Justice Kumar was the CJ of Gujarat High Court.

Their elevation to the Top Court was recommended by the Supreme Court Collegium in resolution dated 31st January 2023
