Lawyer held for damaging Cars at Hotel

 

A lawyer who created a ruckus at a star hotel on Anna Salai and damaged a car parked in the portico of the hotel & a few outside it has been arrested.

The lawyer, identified as Titus of Gingee in Tiruvannamalai, stayed at a hotel room in Teynampet and ordered several drinks. After spending almost half a day in the hotel room, he refused to pay the bill.

As the hotel staff demanded that he pay, he turned violent & attacked the hotel reception staff. He also smashed the windows of 5 expensive cars parked outside the hotel with stones.

The Teynampet police arrived on the scene & took him to the police station.

Interrogation revealed that he was practising at the Saidapet Magistrate’s Court.

A case had been registered against him by the Villupuram police for being involved in a similar incident in Villupuram. Following this, police registered a case & arrested Titus, produced him in Court & remanded him in custody.
