The High Court of Himachal Pradesh has decided the staff shall be deployed in such a manner that 50% staff shall remain on duty and 50% will avail Special Casual Leave as per the batches ordered by the District and Sessions Judge(s) concerned.
The guidelines/ instructions issued by the High Court are as follows:
1. The District Judiciary, where winter vacation will start from 17th January 2022 to 12th February 2022, the staff shall be deployed in such a manner that 50% staff shall remain on duty and 50% will avail Special Casual Leave as per the batches ordered by the District and Sessions Judge(s) concerned.
2. In the summer zone, in order to maintain social distancing, 50% of the sanctioned staff strength shall attend the office on rotation basis on each working day and the remaining will work from home. They shall not leave the station and be available on telephone or other means of communication and will attend the office, if called for, any exigency of work.
3. The Saturdays falling on 15.01.2022 and 22.01.2022, are declared as closure days for the District Judiciary. The staff on duty, shall work from home and remain available at their residences and shall not leave the station without permission of the Authorities.
4. The existing norms and standard for assessment of disposal of cases of the Judicial Officers, are relaxed by 50% till further order.
5. The District and Sessions Judges are authorized to be strict the listing of cases in their respective Civil and Sessions Divisions, in order to maintain social distancing.
6. The premises of the Court Complexes, be sanitized regularly.
7. Wearing of face cover/ face mask, is mandatory.
8. Every person entering in the Court Complex, be only permitted after proper thermal scanning.
9. Before entering the premises, everyone shall use sanitizer. Hand sanitizers, be provided at all the entry gates, Courts and Office rooms.
10. Social distancing should be maintained inside and outside the Office / Court.
11. The District and Sessions Judges are directed to have meeting(s) with the President(s), Bar Association(s) in their respective Civil 85 Sessions Divisions regarding complete vaccination and take up the matter with the District Medical Authorities to achieve the goal of vaccination by organizing special drive.
12. Covid protocol shall be followed strictly.
13. Only those clients are permitted to enter in the Court Complexes, who are appearing in person or their presence is specially required by the Court.
14. There shall be no gathering in the Court Premises.
