This High Court to get Additional Court complex, Chief Justice performs Bhumi Pujan

The Andhra Pradesh High Court Chief Justice Prashant Kumar Mishra performed ‘Bhumi Puja’ for the construction of an additional building to accommodate the court complex at Nelapadu on Monday.

The additional building of G+3 mode is estimated to cost Rs 33.50 crore and will come up in a three-acre site located in front of the existing High Court. The project is likely to be completed in six months and with this, the HC will get an additional space of 76,300 square feet.

The upcoming building will accommodate a library, a record room, and two flexible office spaces in the ground floor while both the first and second floors to house, six court halls each. The third floor will have two court halls and a conference hall for judges, three officer chambers, and office space. Parking space to accommodate 60 vehicles is also to be set up.

Several High Court judges, advocate general S. Sriram, AP Bar Council chairman Ganta Rama Rao, and others were present.
