Meghalaya High Court notifies Vacation benches

  

The High Court of Meghalaya has notified the vacation benches which will be commenced from 18.12.2021 to 25.01.22

The Hon'ble Chief Justice of Meghalaya High Court has nominated the following Hon'ble Judges for hearing urgent matters, if any, during the ensuing winter vacation:

1 - Hon'ble Mr. Justice H.S. Thangkhiew  -  18.12.2021 to 31.12.2021 and then from 03.01.2022 to 06.01.2022

2- Hon'ble Mr. Justice W. Diengdoh  - 07.01.2022 to 25.01.2022

High Court has further pleased to pass the following orders for being followed during the course of winter vacation: 

 

1. The Hon'ble Judge(s) will sit in Single Bench to hear urgent Civil and Criminal matters and such other matters as may be placed before their Lordships as per the schedule of dates given above.
2. Ordinarily, the Hon'ble Judge(s) will sit in Court on such days as their Lordships may think fit. The sitting may continue for the next succeeding day if matters fixed for any day are not finished on that day.

On urgent mentioning made before the Registry by the Advocate/ petitioner-in-person, the concerned Registrar/ Joint Registrar/ Deputy Registrar, on duty. will inform the Hon'ble Vacation Judge and on his Lordship's instruction, the matter will be listed on such date, which shall be notified, thereafter
