In Punjab Assembly, now budget estimates will be
presented on 8th March . The business advisory committee has made the
changes in the previous programme of the business to be transacted by
the Punjab Assembly today. The session started on 1st March .
According to the new programme, tomorrow non official business will be
transacted in the house and on March 6, the discussion on Governor's
address will be resumed and Chief Minister will present the reply after
the discussion is over.
The reports of Comptroller and Auditor General of India for the year of
2018-19, supplementary demands for Grants for the year 2020-21 and
Appropriation Bill on Supplementary Demands for the Grants for the year
2020-21 will also be presented on the same day.
The general discussion on budget estimates
will start on 9th March which will continue till 10th March . After
presentation of reply on budget and transacting financial and
legislative business the house will adjourn sine die.
