Murthy, 43, is currently one among the co-chairs of the Covid-19 planning board of the transition team. He has been an in depth associate of Biden on coronavirus issues. Similarly, Majumdar, a professor of engineering at Stanford who served because the first director of the Advanced Research Projects Agency-Energy, has been a top adviser to Biden on energy related issues.
