Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke to US President-elect Joe Biden and congratulated him. During the telephonic conversation, the 2 leaders reiterated their firm commitment to the Indo-US strategic partnership and discussed the shared priorities and concerns - Covid-19 pandemic, global climate change , and cooperation in the Indo-Pacific Region.
The Prime Minister also conveyed warm congratulations for US Vice President-elect Kamala Harris.
Mr Modi said, her success may be a matter of great pride and inspiration for members of the colourful Indian-American community, who are an incredible source of strength for Indo-US relations.
