The
Covid-19 recovery rate of the country has further improved to 93.60 per
cent. More than 84 lakh 28 thousand people have recovered so far. In
the past 24 hours, 44 thousand 807 recoveries have been reported across
the country.
The active cases currently comprise only 4.93 per cent of the total positive cases and the total number of active cases in the country is four lakh 43 thousand 794.
The Health and Family Welfare Ministry today said a complete of 45 thousand 882 new cases of Covid-19 are reported within the country within 24 hour.
In one day, 584 deaths have been reported taking the nationwide toll to one lakh 32 thousand 162. The case deathrate stood at 1.47 per cent within the country which is one among rock bottom globally.
Meanwhile, the Indian Council of Medical Research said various laboratories in the country have tested 10 lakh 83 thousand 397 samples for coronavirus in the last 24 hours. More than 12 crore 95 lakh tests have been conducted in the country so far.
