Investigation team members allowed to carry out inspection work during lockdown

Sub-divisional officer Katni cum in-charge officer, Agricultural Produce Mandi Balbir Raman, has issued orders to 5 officers by 15 April 2020, in addition to their current duties, for continuing inspection of selected sites. Under the provisions of the Agricultural Produce Market Act 1972, the Mandi Committee had received instructions to set up a team to control illegal sale, storage, deprivation and shortage of food grains by selling or selling at higher rates. In compliance of which Mandi Inspector Rakesh Panika is appointed as in-charge of the team, Municipal Corporation Area Bargawan Industrial Area, Mandi Inspector CS Marawi to Mazhagwan Gate and adjoining Industrial Area, Assistant Sub Inspector Ajay Puravia to Madhavnagar Region and Pirbaba Bypass, Assistant Sub Inspector Prem Clock tower and adjoining area to Kumar Majhi and assistant sub-inspector to Sitaram Marco The team have been engaged in for necessary action Mtra and nearby areas.
Under the order issued, the above employees have been given conditional exemption from lock down for inspection work of notified agricultural produce under subdivision cuttings. The employees concerned have been instructed to observe the area using masks, globs, sanitizers and other necessary safety devices following social distancing instructions and propose action as per rules in case of illegal status.
