On the use of immunity power as a competent weapon in the fight against corona infection, the action plan was prepared in the entire district to distribute the decoction, tablets and powder of disease enhancing drugs of AYUSH department, Homyo, Ayurveda. In the month of February, in addition to medical camps set up in the rural areas by the Department of AYUSH, in the Ayurveda dispensaries, three doses of Trikatu Churna, Sambamani Vati, Homoeopathic drug Arsenic album 30 were given to the people.In the month of March 2020, by extending the work of increasing the immunity to the people, mass teams were started in all the Gram Panchayats and urban wards by forming teams. Through Ayush and health workers, Anganwadi workers, 30 tablets of Ayurveda, Trikatu Churna, Sambamani Vati and Arsenic album of Homeopathy were fed to the people. District AYUSH officer Dr. RK Singh informed that a total of 37 teams have been formed in the district including 33 teams in rural areas and 4 teams in urban areas. Out of a total of 407 gram panchayats in the district, till now 148 villages panchayats and 10 urban wards, all the houses of a total of 158 points have been covered and one lakh 17 thousand 401 persons have been given AYUSH drug dose of immunity enhancement. Of these, 3637 persons from urban areas have Ayurveda, 9138 persons have taken homeopathy medicine and 27 thousand 169 people from rural areas have taken Ayurveda and 77 thousand 457 persons have taken the dose of anti-inflammatory medicine of homeopathy.
District Ayush team became Corona warrior
The team of AYUSH doctors along with District AYUSH officer Dr. RK Singh and AYUSH, Health and Anganwadi workers on the plains are distributing medicines from door to door with social distress precautions throughout the district. At the same time, Corona is discharging the role of warrior against Corona by making people aware of infection prevention and precautions. So far 123 kg Trikatu Churna, 50 kg Sambamani Vati, 9000 Drum Arsenicum album-30 homeopathy medicine have been distributed through all the dispensaries operated under the District Ayush Office. According to the instructions of Collector Shashibhushan Singh, the District Ayush Officer had sent a demand for sufficient medicines in the district by sending a demand as per the requirement of medicines in the month of February itself. The amount of Saxmini Vati 500mg is to be consumed twice a day with hot water for 5 to 10 consecutive days or 5 to 6 tablets of the homeopathy medicine Arsenic album 30 on an empty stomach three consecutive days in a month.
Intensive monitoring in Gram Panchayats of 33 dispensary areas
Collector Shasibhushan Singh, in the Gram Panchayats of 33 Dispensary area of Katni district, in view of the number of local laborers who returned from the districts after working as a lockdown during the lockdown period, formed 33 Ayush teams for the Gram Panchayats to feed them Ayush medicine from door to door and their Deployed for continuous monitoring of health.
