 KATNI Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan said that the whole world is grappling with a major crisis of corona virus infection. There is no need to be afraid of corona virus infection, but rather to fight to the full potential with preventive precautions. He said that the state government will not allow any shortage of funds and resources to prevent corona infection and to tackle the epidemic. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan was holding discussions with all district collectors and superintendents of police and health and administrative officials through video conferencing on Wednesday evening. In the video conferencing room of Katni District Collectorate NIC, Collector Shashibhushan Singh, Superintendent of Police Lalit Shakywar, Forest Magistrate Rajesh Rai, Additional Collector Saket Malviya, CEO District Panchayat Jagdish Chandra Gomme, Commissioner Municipal Corporation RP Singh, SDM Balbir Raman, Sapna Tripathi, CMHO Dr. SK Nigam, Civil Surgeon Dr. SK Sharma and concerned department head officers were present. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that during the lockdown till 14 April on the call of the Prime Minister, throughout India, strictly follow the Guidelines of Corona infection issued by the Government of India. He appealed to the people to stay in their homes, not to leave out. Ration, daily use items and urgent services will be ensured to the general public. He said that the norms of social distance should be followed and done at all places. Four verticals have been created at the state level to deal with the disaster of infection. Collectors can take guidance from senior officials of the government. All necessary arrangements for food and medicine for children, women and old people living in working hostels, hostels, old age homes should be made. He said that packages are also being given to poor poor families.
During the lock-down, the pension amount for the month of April-May will be given to the beneficiaries of all pension schemes in the first week of April. One thousand rupees will be given in the account of the workers of the construction workers and one thousand rupees will be given to the special tribe Baiga and Sahariya families. BPL families will get a lump sum ration and the Corona victim will be given free treatment by the government in a government or private institution. During the lockdown period in rural areas, the available amount of Panch Parmeshwar Yojana can be used for the provision of distress or food for the poor. He said that many donor institutions, social workers and organizations are also coming forward to help during the lockdown. Their help can also be taken by establishing coordination.
