KATNI. Jail Superintendent Leena Kostha said that in view of the effect of Corona virus, the detention of detained prisoners in the jail with their families has been banned till 31 March. The prisoners have been provided with the facility of meeting over the telephone only. Under this facility, all the punished prisoners and those undertrials, who have been in jail for 90 days, were telephoned. Keeping in mind the facility of meeting the prisoners, instructions were given to install 1 additional telephone by the jail headquarters Bhopal. In compliance of which additional telephone has been installed in the District Jail Katni. For the convenience of the detainees due to the closure of the direct visit, the jail headquarters has been given the exemption to talk to all the detainees on telephone by 25 April 2020. Now the relatives of the detainees can call the telephone numbers 07622-262285 and 07622-262216 and talk to the concerned detainees
