AIR correspondent reports, all the political parties are offering their best and seeking a mandate from the voters. Congress is offering free electricity and rice apart from monthly allowances. BJP promises to improve people's living standards and benefits of a double-engine government. The JD(S) has pledged to bring back 4 per cent reservation of Muslims apart from other benefits. While the Congress is looking to benefit from the anti-incumbency wave, the ruling BJP hopes PM Modi's popularity and development work will help it through. Karnataka is set to vote on May 10, and counting is scheduled for May 13.
