MRT Studios files Contempt of Court petition against Congress Leaders

 

MRT Studios has filed a contempt of court petition against the Indian National Congress leaders.

The leaders are MPs Rahul Gandhi and Jairam Ramesh, and spokesperson Supriya Shrinate. 

On Friday, a Division Bench of the Karnataka High Court ordered the issuance of notices to the three leaders after MRT Studio in their petition alleged that the 3 had violated the undertaking given to the court on Nov 8 that the video clips of the Bharat Jodo yatra which used the copyrighted music belonging to the Studio would be removed from the party's social media platforms within a day. Allegedly, the videos have not been removed, the company said.
