The Supreme Court E-Committee headed by Justice DY Chandrachud has constituted a 3-member panel of High Court judges to develop & implement a uniform & unique citation for Supreme Court Judgments.

The 3-member panel comprises Justice Rajiv Shakdher of Delhi HC, Justice Suraj Govindaraj of Karnataka HC & Justice Raja Vijayaraghavan of Kerala HC.

The e-committee has been tasked with developing an independent citation system capable of scaling it up.

It will soon be inviting views & suggestions from stakeholders.

The High Court of Delhi recently introduced a neutral citation system for all its judgments uploaded on the official website of the court. 

The High Court of Kerala also recently decided to implement a Unique Neutral Citation Number for all its Judgments & orders passed since 1949.
