On Tuesday, the High Court of Delhi will pronounce its verdict in bail petition filed Ex-JNU student Umar Khalid in the case connected to Delhi Riots conspiracy.
On Sept 9, the Court had reserved its verdict after hearing arguments from Senior Lawyer Trideep Pais and Special Public Prosecutor Amit Prasad.
Umar Khalid had approached the HC challenging dismissal of his bail plea by the Trial Court earlier 2022.
He was arrested by Delhi Police in Sept 2020 and charged with criminal conspiracy, rioting, unlawful assembly as well as several sections of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA).
