High Court Lawyer's Munshi threatens Colleague over supporting Nupur Sharma, arrested

 

On Thursday, Police arrested a High Court Lawyer's Clerk (munshi) for threatening a colleague who supported Nupur Sharma. The arrest comes after another Lawyer's munshi lodged a complaint with Rajasthan HC Clerks Association demanding security.

The High Court administration informed the Police & filed an FIR against the accused. Police initially detained the munshi & later arrested him.

According to Kudi Bhagtasni SHO Sumerdan, a munshi of the HC, Mahendra Singh Rajpurohit, had posted a Whatsapp status in support of Nupur Sharma. 

He said that "Reacting to it, another munshi Sohail Khan threatened Rajpurohit over the phone. When Rajpurohit stopped responding to his phone calls, he whatsapped him and said he would sever his head".
