Advocate Shanti Bhushan has been appointed as the Assistant Solicitor
General (ASG) for the Karnataka High Court.
The notification issued in this regard, notifies that,
“The President is pleased to engage Shri Shanthi Bhushan H, Advocate as Assistant Solicitor General of India for the High Court of Karnataka (PB) at Bengaluru, as mentioned below, for a period of three years with effect from from the date of this order or until further orders, whichever is earlier.”
About Mr. Shanti Bhusan
Shanti Bhushan is an Indian politician and lawyer. He served as the Law Minister of India holding office at the Ministry of Law and Justice from 1977 to 1979 in the Morarji Desai Ministry. He is a senior advocate of the Supreme Court of India. He is son of Prashant Bhusan.
