The Full Bench of the Gauhati High Court, comprising of Chief Justice Sudhanshu Dhulia, Justice Manash Ranjan Pathak and Justices N. Kotiswar Singh has further extended all interim orders passed by the High Court and all other subordinate Courts and Tribunals till July 14.
The Bench held that “we are of the considered view that the order dated 31.05.2021, which was subsequently extended on 14.06.2021, shall remain operative till 14.07.2021.”
The Court has given this observation while dealing with the suo moto PIL instituted by the Court owing to the daily surge of cases during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The
Court had earlier further extended its previous orders dated May 10 and
May 31 wherein it had extended the interim orders passed by it, its
outlying Benches and other subordinate Courts and Tribunals till June 1
and June 15, 2021 respectively.
The Court listed the matter on 12th July, 2021 for next hearing
