The Delhi High Court while taking consideration on precautions which needs to be taken in the view of predicted third wave of Corona virus has decided to continue functioning of High Court and its sub-ordinate Courts through video-conferencing till 23.07.2021.
The Notification dated released by Registrar General, Manoj Jain, has notified that,
“The Hon'ble Full Court has been pleased to order that all the Benches of this Court as well as the Courts of Registrars/Joint Registrars (Judicial) shall continue to take up urgent matters, as per the existing arrangement, through video-conferencing till 23.07.2021.”
The Court has observed that despite there being decline in the number of Covid-19 cases in the NCT of Delhi, precaution needs to be taken in view of the predicted third wave and limited availability of vaccines. In the view of this observation made by the Court, it has been decided that, Courts will be functioning through virtual mode only till 23rd July, 2021.
