President Ram Nath Kovind
arrived in Bhubaneswar yesterday evening on a three-day visit to Odisha.
He was received at the Biju Patnaik International Airport by Odisha
Governor Ganeshi Lal, chief minister Naveen Patnaik and Union Ministers
Dharmendra Pradhan and Pratap Chandra Sarangi.
AIR correspondent reports that on the second day of his visit to Odisha
today, the President will attend the 18th annual convocation of NIT in
Rourkela and later in the day would dedicate to the nation a super
specialty hospital there, before flying back to the state capital
Bhubaneswar.
Tomorrow he is scheduled to travel to Konark where you will visit
state-of-art Indian Oil Foundation Trust Interpretation Centre before
returning to New Delhi the same day.
Elaborate security arrangements have been made at all the places that
figure in the President's itinerary in the state including the
deployment of about thirty platoon police forces in state capital
Bhubaneswar.
