Prime Minister Narendra
Modi has said that Atmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyan will create wealth and
value for the larger humanity. Terming this initiative good for the
world, he said, 130 crore people of India have decided their course of
action and they are going to make India self-reliant. Mr. Modi was
speaking at the launch of the kindle version of Swami Chidbhavanandaji’s
Bhagavad Gita today.
Appreciating the outstanding spirit and
courage shown by the people of the country during Covid-19 pandemic, the
Prime Minister said, our scientists worked in a speedy manner and came
out with indigenous vaccines. He said, India is humbled that made in
India vaccines are going around the world. He said, the world is
fighting a tough battle against a global pandemic and when the world
needed medicines, India did whatever it could do.
Highlighting the importance of Bhagavad
Gita in life, the Prime Minister said, it is a greatest source of
knowledge which consists of a treasure of thoughts. He said, it was in
the middle of conflict that the world got the finest life lesson in the
form of Bhagavad Gita. He said, the core message of Gita is action which
keeps our mind open.
He said, e-books are becoming very
popular especially among the youth, therefore, this effort will connect
more youngsters with the noble thoughts of Gita. He urged the young
people to adopt the teaching of Bhagavad Gita as it is practicable and
relatable.
Mr. Modi said, this e-book will also
deepen the connection between the eternal Gita and glorious tamil
culture as the vibrant tamil diaspora will be able to read it easily.
Appreciating the Tamil diaspora, he said, the Tamil diaspora has scaled
new heights in many sectors and they carry with them the greatness of
tamil culture.
