Senior BJP leader and
Union Home Minister Amit Shah today said that every refugee in Assam
will be secured with citizenship and all infiltrators will be sent out.
Mr Shah was addressing an election rally at Silchar in southern Assam.
Mr Shah said, Assam government has been successful in implementing peace
process throughout the state in last five years and peace will be
further stable feature of Assam if his party comes back to power in the
state.
Mr Shah also criticised Congress leader
Priyanka Gandhi for having what he termed as double standard over
Citizenship Amendment Act in different parts of state. The Home Minister
also promised to start a number of developmental projects in Barak
Valley including Mega SEZ and upgradation of Silchar Airport as
international Airport. Earlier Shri Shah addressed another election
gathering at Patharkandi in Karimganj district.
One the other hand CPI national executive
member Kanhaiya Kumar addressed a number of public gatherings under
Sonai Constituency of Cachar district in support of AIUDF candidate.
