According to reports, a protest march was taken out under the leadership of CPI ML MLA Vinod Singh for the morning by blocking the National Highway 2 GT road passing through Bagodar against the anti-farmer policies of the Modi government and in support of the agitating farmers. The well-known JMM MLA from Ghatshila was seen in traditional tribal attire with workers in bandh. In Jharkhand's capital Ranchi, CPI-ML - CPM - CPI - Masses JMM - RJD and Congress workers took out a protest march to Albert Ekka Chowk to make the bandh a success. In support of the bandh, marches were carried out at several places in East Singhbhum, including Bundu, a tribal area dominated by Ramgarh, Jhumritilaiya, Dhanbad, Bokaro, Garhwa - Palamu and Jamshedpur. Workers of many collieries also actively protested at the local level in support of the bandh and opposed the anti-worker-farmer policies of the Modi government. And it was effective. In 7 districts bandh supporters also made arrests. In a statement issued by the Left parties on the bandh in Jharkhand, it has said that this is a growing public anger and warning against the Modi government at the Center. The Congress-JMM legislators were active in the Jharkhand government's Agriculture Minister Badal Patralekh, Rural Development Minister Alamgir Alam and Finance cum Food Supply Minister Rameshwar Oraon, along with their workers. Accused the opposition of doing politics with the issue. Responding, the JMM spokesperson said that BJP people sitting in closed rooms of Delhi-Ranchi should open their eyes and see that the spontaneous success of the bandh has proved that the Ugulan has now started against the Modi government. Now the Hemant Soren government will also not bear pressure and will not remain silent on the economic and constitutional issues of the state. On the one hand, the central government describes law and order as a matter of states, on the other hand it has made several agencies which do not have to take the permission of the state. In Jharkhand as well as Bihar, the Bharat Bandh will be called to a large extent effective rather than 'mixed effect'. One of its specialties is that in the assembly elections, all political parties, which were separated from the opposition grand alliance, also took to the streets, while many such organizations also had spontaneous active participation which is not seen in the normal days. In the so-called reports of Bihar media, the post office of the post office called the heartland of the capital Patna, and the busiest dabbangala square was in the 'possession of the supporters for five hours'. While plum and paddy as well as countless posters - BJP in support of bandh with banners - except JDU, the entire opposition workers stood in the presence of the police. All the constituent farmer organizations of the All India Kisan Sangharsh Samiti also played active participation. In the program, apart from MLA Sudama Prasad (All India Kisan Mahasabha leader) and Gopal Ravidas (Khet Grameen Mazdoor Sabha Bihar Secretary) of Bihar Legislative Assembly, along with central and state leaders of all leftist parties, leaders of RJD-Congress and other organizations-parties also joined in. Apart from the representatives of the Left Trade Union CITU, AICCTU and other trade unions, good participation was also witnessed by the student-youth organizations AISA-AISF-SFI-Inaus and several women's organizations including Appva and Adva. Addressing the protest meeting held here, representatives of all political parties demanded in unison that in the 9 December talks, the central government would accept all the demands of the farmers without doing anything but otherwise the agitation would intensify. Media and social media reports descended in large numbers in support of the bandh in almost all the districts of Bihar and demonstrated solidarity with the agitating farmers. In many places, rail stop operations were also carried out on various national highways along with the blockade. In some places there are reports of light clashes with the administration and arrests in support of the bandh. In many places, MLAs of parties involved in the grand alliance also led a closed campaign in their areas. The success of the Bharat Bandh shows much in the midst of the outrageous statements made by the central government and all the ruling parties of its coalition and their leaders on the outrageous statements made by them and the opposition. The anger of the people arising from the rising prices of potato and onion is also being cited as a reason behind the support of the common people of Bharat Bandh. While many well-known and senior sportspersons, writers - artists - intellectuals and their organizations have come out in support of the farmers, it is clear that the new agricultural laws of the central government are not just farmers but also anti-national. Which will directly benefit private and corporate companies - and people like Adani-Ambani will now rule as new landowners in this country.
