Three have been arrested and a case has been registered against seven people for burning the girl alive.
Bulandshahr: A 15-year-old alleged Dalit girl, an alleged rape victim in Bulandshahr, Uttar Pradesh, died in Delhi's Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital on Tuesday.
According to the report of the Indian Express, it is alleged that the girl was burnt alive by relatives of the rape accused, after which she died in the hospital.
According to police, the girl was allegedly first raped by a local man. After the victim's family lodged a complaint with the police, the accused pressured the family to withdraw the complaint.
In the FIR filed by the family, it is said that seven people entered their house and set the victim girl on fire by spraying petrol.
A video of the victim from the hospital is going viral, in which she can be heard saying, "Those who came to burn her, these people have been molesting cases before."
SSP of Bulandshahr Santosh Kumar Singh said, "The girl was raped by a man in August. The man was arrested. The accused is currently in jail. On Tuesday (November 17), we got the news that the same girl was scorched under suspicious circumstances. By 11 o'clock in the morning it seemed that he committed suicide, but on the basis of the family's complaint seven people set the girl on fire. '
He said that a case has been registered against seven people and three have been arrested so far.
According to the victim's family, the people who set the girl on fire are relatives and acquaintances of the accused who are in jail.
The victim's uncle said, "We were threatened to withdraw the complaint of rape." On Monday at 8:30 pm, I received a call from an unknown person, he threatened to withdraw the complaint or be ready to bear the brunt. At 9:30 am on Tuesday, when the girl's parents were not at home, we were told that the girl had caught fire. '
The police is investigating the relationship between the two incidents.
The girl's family says that after the fire, we took her to a nearby hospital, after which she was referred to Bulandshahr. From there we were told to go to RML in Delhi. The doctors declared him dead after treatment for fifteen to twenty minutes.
The victim's father is a laborer by profession.
The FIR names Sanjay, Banwari, Badan Singh, Veer Singh, Jaswant Singh, Gautam and Kajal.
An FIR has been registered under sections 307, 147, 506, 452 of IPC and various sections of SC / ST. After the death of the victim, the section of murder has also been added in the FIR.
