Increase in amount due to the students of Eklavya Model Residential Schools

Recruitment process of principals on deputation continues

The amount given to students studying in 46 Eklavya Model Residential Schools in 25 districts run by the Tribal Welfare Department has been increased from Rs 31 thousand 500 to Rs 47 thousand 860. This amount is given to the students for housing, food, uniform, medical and cultural activities. It is noteworthy that 13 thousand students are studying in 14 Eklavya schools of the state. Discipleship is being provided to students studying in 123 specialized residential schools in the state at Rs. 2500 per month. The process of recruitment to the post of principal on deputation is in circulation in these schools. The last date for submission of applications for this has been extended from March 16 to March 31, 2020.
