Farmers reject government's proposal on controversial agricultural laws


 


New Delhi: Even after 14 days of continuous agitation on agrarian laws, India was closed and written assurance couldn't be reached. Meanwhile, five rounds of formal and one round informal talks are held between the farmers and therefore the government, but the deadlock remains intact. there's just one demand from the farmers that the primary three agricultural laws should be repealed, then something meaningful will happen.
Farmers protesting on the borders of the capital on Wednesday rejected the proposal of the middle , during which it said that it had been able to give written assurance to the MSP to continue.
Farmer leaders said at a news conference here that if the govt sends another proposal, they will consider them. Farmer leader Shiv Kumar Kakka said that if the three laws aren't repealed, the streets of Delhi are going to be closed one after the opposite and farmers also can take a choice on crossing the Singhu border and entering Delhi.
He said that no decision has yet been taken on subsequent round of talks with the central government regarding the three agricultural laws.
Kakka said that in protest against these laws, farmers will encircle the district headquarters within the states on December 14 and therefore the Delhi-Jaipur highway are going to be closed on December 12.
Farmer leader Darshan Pal told the news conference that the Agra-Delhi Expressway are going to be closed on December 12 and no tax are going to be levied on any tract of the country thereon day.
At an equivalent time, farmer leader Prahlad Singh Bharukheda said that there's nothing new within the government's proposal and that we will continue our protest against agri-marketing laws.
Significantly, against the three agricultural laws of the middle , thousands of farmers are protesting at various borders of Delhi for the last several days. Five rounds of talks are held with the govt on the stress of the farmers' organizations, but this has not been done.
Yesterday, after the success of Bharat Bandh on Tuesday, Home Minister Amit Shah hurriedly called 13 leaders of farmers' organizations for a night-time interaction. The meeting lasted for about two hours but no solution might be found therein also .
Thereafter, the sixth round of talks between the govt and farmers' representatives was canceled on Wednesday. and therefore the government said that a written proposal are going to be sent to the farmers after the cupboard meeting, but this proposal also couldn't offer anything new and therefore the deadlock continues as before.
