The efforts of the Podi Ashram in-charge saved the life of the destitute,

katni. Suraj Burman, a resident of village Podi, was ill for the past several months. Being alone at home, the condition worsened. Villagers are not getting out of the house due to Karona infection and lockdown. Somehow Suraj's ill was informed to the in-charge Mrs. Manju Soni of Podi Ashram School. Manju Soni immediately dialed 108 and got the patient admitted to the district hospital. The doctors described the patient's condition as serious and asked to arrange blood. Blood donut was done by Mohit Tirthani, a member of Milan Blood Donor Group Sudhir Soni, with the efforts of Smt Soni and Madai Sarpanch Ashok Manjhi to save the life of the destitute. Currently, Suraj is undergoing treatment at the district hospital and social workers Ashok Manjhi and Mrs. Soni are taking full care of the patient. Helping and serving any destitute in such adverse circumstances (lockdown) is a true proof of human service.
